KONA
WHAT'S UP WITH THAT EXPENSIVE COFFEE?
Coffee cultivated in the North and South Districts of Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii is the only coffee that can truely be called Kona Coffee. The Hawaiian Arabica coffee trees typically bloom after Kona's dry winters and are harvested in autumn. This is EXPENSIVE coffee, a lot of it has to do with the limited production, but there is also a lot of hype. We find these island coffees to be particularly mild and balanced, with no sharp edges on the true Konas. We keep a bag at the roastery for those of you who like a mild coffee..and people love to recieve Kona coffee as a gift, it is one of our most popular items at Christmas time. The Kona primes are good beans and offer up a sound cup of coffee worth every penny!
* This coffee it is roasted strictly on demand with your pre-paid order so that you know it's as fresh as it can get..
