ESPRESSO MACHINE PRE - INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:

ELECTRICAL:VOLTAGE/AMPERAGE :

One Group: 110 volt

Two Group: 220 volt/ 20 amps

Three or Four Group: 220 volt/ 30 amps

Super-automatic: 220 volt / 30 Amps

****Please notify Espresso Atlanta technician, before install, what outlet has been placed at install site.
The proper receptacle will be placed on espresso machine

LOCATION OF ELECTRICAL OUTLET:

The outlet should be within 3 feet of the machine’s final location; so plan your counter layout accordingly. You may also wish to locate the outlet above or below the counter top level. Should you choose to locate it below the counter top, a hole should be made in your counter top for the power cord and drain line to pass through.

With a Traditional model espresso machine, you will most likely be using one or two espresso grinders alongside the espresso machine, so make sure you plan the proper amount of dedicated 120V outlets within 3 feet of their final location as well.

Water Supply Requirements:

*3/8” Cut off valve and a back flow valve, if required by your municipality.

*Cold water supply
* Water softener- highly recommended (if water hardness over 5 grains= required)

Drain requirements:

The dimensions of the drain connection  is 2 inches.

In most installations, waste water from the machine is directed into a 2” or larger PVC funnel-type drain receptacle. The PVC drain line should be placed with 4 feet of the espresso machine.
